Edward Atkinson Hornel (Scottish, 1864-1933): 'May Blossom', depicting two young girls playing amongst flowering trees, a body of water and hills in the distance, signed 'E A Hornel' and dated '1919' lower left, Edinburgh framers label to back, 49 by 38.5cm (19½ by 15 inches), glazed and in gilt swept frame, 67.5 by 58cm (26½ by 23 inches).
